Charity Auction is your chance to bid on special items of value belonging to our guests whilst contributing to a worthwhile cause. Our guests Shin-ichiro Miki, Sakura Tange and Yūko Miyamura have generously donated exclusive items that will be available for viewing immediately before, and during the Charity Auction. We are also auctioning off the Travelling Artbook. All our proceeds are donated to the Fred Hollows Foundation. The Fred Hollows Foundation is inspired by the work of the late Professor Fred Hollows (1929-1993). Fred was an eye doctor, a skilled surgeon of international renown and a social justice activist who championed the right of all people to high quality and affordable eye care and to good health. The Foundation works with indigenous Australians and in developing countries, and their efforts have helped to restore the sight of more than 1 million people worldwide. The Charity Auction gives anime fans the chance to come together and show how caring and giving our community really is. Registration is not required to participate in the auction. Just turn up at the main stage auditorium at 1.30pm and our friendly staff will guide you. Please note that we can only accept CASH payments.
