Mario Kart Tournament
This year, we will be battling it out old school style with another classic favourite that will surely bring back memories. Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Princess Peach, Wario, Yoshi, Toad, and Donkey Kong will be battling it out to determine who has the skill that only a nuclear physicist could ever hope to achieve.
For this tournament, we will only be allowing classic Nintendo 64 controllers. These will provided by SMASH! so the only thing you need to bring is your game face.
Tournament Rules
Match Format: 4 v 4 Multiplayer Mode
Difficulty: 150cc
- The tournament brackets will be double elimination.
- The top two players from each match will move on to the next round.
- Courses will be chosen by random selection from the Star, Mushroom, and Flower Cups. Final round will be Rainbow.
- No course can be chosen twice in a row.
- SMASH! will provide controllers and no other controllers may be used under any circumstances.
- The Tournament Director’s word is final.
- Any belittling of any person who is playing will result in instant elimination.
- Attempts to sabotage the event will lead to a permanent ban from all future tournaments.
