Pokémon Battle Arena

Where: Vendor Hall When: All day! Are you a Pokémon fan with a team ready to battle? Do you like meeting people,learn new tricks and the chance to win awesome prizes? Then come to Gaming Area on the day for our Pokémon Battle Arena! This is how it will work: Bring your Pokémon team of 3 that coincide with the rules and show them to an staff member in the gaming area. Upon approval, you will be signed up for a raffle and you will be given a badge. Then go off and have fun by battling people! At 4pm, registered participants will be asked to gather around for the drawing of the raffle, where you can win some cool prizes provided by Beyond Home Entertainment! Please keep in mind that participants will have a minute to claim their prize when their name is called. We hope that you enjoy this event!

Rules

  • Be polite. This even is non-competitive - battles are meant to be fun.
  • You are allowed to decline a battle. Do NOT force another guest to play a battle.
  • You are required to own a legal copy of Pokémon Black or White to participate in the raffle and in the battles.
  • A team of 3 Pokémon ready on the day. You are allowed to change Pokémon on the day as long as they coincide with the rules.
  • Players may use Pokémon from the National Pokédex, from No. 001–646, that are caught in the game, transferred from a previous Pokémon title, or received at an official event or distribution.
  • All Pokémon will be adjusted to level 50 for the duration of the battle.
  • Each Pokémon on a player’s team may use held items, though no two Pokémon may hold the same item during battle.
  • Players found to have inappropriate/offensive Trainer names or Pokémon nicknames, as determined by staff, will not be allowed to enter the raffle.
  • Players must ensure that their Nintendo DS/3DS console is fully charged prior to the event, as power will not be guaranteed on the day. It is recommended that players lower their console brightness in order to conserve battery.
  • Pokémon may only use moves that have been learned through: levelling up, by TM or HM, by breeding, from a character in the game, or already learned by a Pokémon that was received at an official Pokémon event or promotion.
  • Having said that, Pokémon cannot use the move Sky Drop or Dark Void during battle.
