The search is on! We are looking for Australia’s representative to the Gunpla Builders World Cup (Formerly BMKWC / BAKUC), an international Gundam modeling competition held by BANDAI to give modelers the opportunity to show off their work and battle it out amongst the best modelers from all over the world.

History

Since its inception in 2004, countries such as Japan, China, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Italy, USA, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Malaysia have taken part. After the great success of the competition in 2010, Bandai, Hobbyco and SMASH! are bringing the competition back again so we can continue show the world what Australian modelers are made of!

Prize

This competition is open to everyone, from beginners to the pro modelers! With amazing prizes up for grabs, such as a round trip to Japan for this year’s Gunpla Builders World Cup finals, now is a fantastic time to get involved in this great hobby. The awards will be presented in the Main Stage after the Cosplay Competition, at 4pm.
