OH NO WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO IF THEY WANT TO ATTEND SOMETHING ON THE DAY?

If you have a break at the same time as the event then you can go.
If you are on during a quiet time and there are other volunteers in your section then you can probrably ask you team leader if you can attend the event. You can only go if they let you.
If the event you want to attend is during the same time as the busy time for the section you are in, then you will need to stay and help out in your section.

Is there a cosplay comp on Saturday? and if yes, can we just dress up as anything? or do we ‘actually’ have to represent a character from an anime/manga? e.g. JROCK or maid or just traditional Japanese outfit etc…

Yes there will be a cosplay competition on Saturday.

It says:
“Your costume must be of an Anime, Manga, Japanese Games character, or related to Japanese pop culture. (For example, J-rock etc).”
so yes it is not strictly anime and manga.

Ubisoft will be in the Timezone Gaming Room during the entire event, so they will be there both days.
The toilets are marked on the map.

Syoku Samurai will supply your delicious Japanese foods during this two days.
