In 2013, SMASH! returns to Sydney's premier event space, the Sydney Convention Centre in Darling Harbour.

The Centre was officially opened in 1988 and since that time has catered for thousands of events, including the 2000 Olympic Games. The venue is located in the heart of Darling Harbour and is a 10 to 15-minute walk from Town Hall station and about a 2-minute drive from the City Centre. There is a car park located on Darling Drive right behind the Exhibition Centre.
