Our Maid Cafe will provide morning tea for anyone who want to enjoy delicious cakes, Japanese sweets and drinks served by waitresses cosplaying as anime characters.
SMASH! was proud to be the first to hold this event in Sydney, and is delighted to have it return for 2008. Make sure you pay a visit for this exclusive look into a piece of Japanese pop culture.

Due to some misunderstandings about the nature of this event, we would like to stress the following points:
- This is a PG Event.
- Maid Cafe refers to the attire of the waiters, who will be wearing various costumes of characters from anime series and some of the maids will be dressed up in the Japanese lolita fashion style. Besides the fact that the waiters and waitresses dress up as anime characters and serve drinks and food for the attendees, it will be exactly the same as normal cafes.
- Attendees are not allowed to have physical contact with the maids/hosts.
- Please get permissions from the maids before you take a photo of them.
- Any harassment policy outlined in the General Public Code of Conduct will apply to the maid cafe.
