Do you F@P (Fail at Props)? If so, join Will and Tsubaki for the Beginner and Master Class panels where you’ll learn how to make your cosplay props and armour the best they can possibly be!

Whether you’ve started working on your cosplay months in advance or the night before, Will and Tsubaki will show you how to construct anything out of the most outrageous of materials. In the Beginner class you’ll learn the basics for starting your prop, perfect for new cosplayers! Once you’ve seen this panel, you’ll be ready to attend the Master Class later in the day.

Are you brand new to cosplaying and scared by the thought of touching a sewing machine or using a pattern? Never fear! In this panel your worries will be put at ease as we take you through the basics to solve all your sewing and pattern problems. Cosplay makeup has become an important part in complementing any cosplay. Join our sensei Miss Chen in an in-depth panel that’ll teach you all about makeup and techniques to transform your cosplay. This panel isn’t just for the ladies, Miss Chen will show you how to do male makeup too!

Cosplay Photography

You see photos of cosplayers, and something just clicks. It’s like the anime or manga character has come to life, the picture capturing the feel and essence of the series. But what goes on in the background to yield that photo? How does cosplay photography differ from other forms of photography? Straw and Icie will share tips and examples in regards to planning, shooting and editing cosplay photos. The panel will also look briefly at gear and techniques.

The Advanced Sewing and Pattern Making class is for the cosplayers who want to know more! We will take you through more complex pattern making so you’ll be able to create any cosplay imaginable. With all the skills you’ll learn you’ll be able to take on any cosplay competition.
