The more you tell us about the character, the better it is! =D I don't see anything wrong with adding more to the pic. Ultimately it's your art and an addition to your portfolio why not take advantage of it and push yourself?

Haha well it's not like I'll ever have a portfolio, since art is a hobby for me (but damn, I wish I could make a living off it!). If I could design characters for some company, I totally would

First of all thank you to everyone who submitted their entries, your works are fabulous!! *__*

but for those who haven't had time to do this yet, you'll be glad to know that the deadline has now been extended to

midnight, July 15th 2008(AEST).

Everyone who previously submitted, can change/tweak their submission or again if you chose to do so.

And we do apologise for this late notice, as the committee is currently very busy. I will email those of you who have submitted to let you know about this change. If you do not recieve any emails from me in the next 2 days, it means your entry was never recieved. so pm me and let me know.

I sent one in late last night, I'm going to redo it as I'm very very busy at the moment and only really had enough time for a sketch with a few colours and no explanation for my design xD;; But I wanted to submit something, thanks for the comment on it Oli x3;;
Also give me a chance to do it on a tablet *needs to buy AAA batteries*
