SMASH! 2008 Fanfiction CompetitionEver wondered what happened if the Sailor Scouts, boarded a pirate ship for some jolly good fun? Can you really trap a Super Saiyan using only bananas? What will be the results of a defamation case; Renge from Ouran High Vs Sasuke and Naruto, with your favourite OBJECTION! lawyers to be on the job!? What if Haruhi isn't really a god, it's actually Kyon, and Certain People are trying to stop him from really finding out by making Haruhi the decoy?
SMASH! is having a fanfiction competition - where you can answer all these questions and more; with entries from Australia and New Zealand eligible to enter!
Our judges are a secret - shhhhhhhhh - but they are fanfic writers just like you, chosen for their skills and broad fandom knowledge!
So take a look at our fandom list - we guarantee that you'll know at least one; and use one of our six prompts as broadly as you like:
- First breath after a coma...
- There's something I've been meaning to tell you...
- The zombies weren't the problem...
- In the name of the _____, I will punish you!
- I had no intention of deceiving anyone. It's just that none of you understood…my true self.
- Mission complete.
We have three categories eligible for prizes,
- Romance/Drama
- Comedy/Parody
- Action/Adventure
We want you to keep it PG, but there are no restrictions on pairings!
The deadline for entries is
midnight (AEST), July 15th 2008.
So now that you know the details, go write!
