anything along the lines of simillar looking duos as in twins, simillar/contrasting get-ups or even arch-nemises~ and dont forget fun, coz thats what cosplay is about XP

Aww. But I think the SMASHCOTS would be hilarious to see at other conventions! :D

Well the cosplay help thread's so far been entirely links to resources, so it's understandable if it didn't come straight to mind. :) Just hopefully people will realise for the next time that it's here to help with suggestions or information about techniques! :D

Merged~

Your best bet would be to have a chat with your optometrist, since you'll need a contact lens prescription and red's a harder colour to find (as opposed to violet) since as far as I can recall it's not covered by freshlook which is the most common coloured contact lens brand.

Otherwise you'll probably have to find a novelty contact lens specialist site.

ETA: http://www.freshlook.com.au/ - They have a section where you can play around with the colours on a couple of different models. :) And sorry they don't appear to have red, but perhaps someone else can get use out of it. ^.^;

Hazzah! OSPM, which is a chain optometric shop? lol. In any case I purchase my lens from one of their branches and am happy with that branch at least XD, sell them (blood red contact lens) under novelty contact lenses. :)

http://www.opsmdirect.com.au/Cooper-Vision-Hydron/Crazy-Lenses.html So any OPSM store will be able to order them in for you and you can purchase them from the site if you'd rather use a prescription from elsewhere I belive. :)

Their monthly ones so you'll be able to practice before hand as long as you store them properly. :)

This thread here has lots of links to helpful websites in the first post, so have a lookie there and see if anything is useful.
http://www.smash.org.au/forums/index.php/topic,1361.0.html

Now can you please provide a picture of the character you are cosplaying and what exactly you need help with?

Hope I can help somehow.

(P.S I will have this thread merged with the cosplay help thread)
