SMASH! 2009 Fanfiction Competition

So it’s back again this year, for all who have the imagination to give Lelouch wings, have Hiruma discover Nami kissing Vash behind the school gym or maybe have Tsuna just not show up for the final battle. What bizarre situation can you imagine your favourite characters in?

SMASH! is once again running a fanfiction competition for those interested in taking a bit of creative license to canon (or possibly throwing it right out the window).

Entries will be judged by a panel of reputable fanfiction authors chosen for their skills and knowledge of a broad range of fandoms.

To be in on the action, have a look at the fandom list (you’re sure to know at least one of them), and pick one of our prompts as broadly as you like to write your fanfic:

    * Well, the worst thing that could happen is we all die.
    * The power of imagination is the ability to create your own future
    * Justice has a name, and that name is…
    * Well, if I'm going to die, then I want you to kiss me.
    * The evening sky's brilliant colours all fading into dusk…

There are no restrictions on what pairings can be in the fanfics, but they must be PG.

So now that you know the details go forth and write your hearts out!

(Our judges are looking forward to reading your stories.)

Deadline: EXTENDED Until Midnight, July 18th 2009 (AEST)

Visit Guidelines and Accepted Series

Good luck with the writing!

o_o Death Games is absolutely wonderful. I really just sat there and devoured the entire piece. :D I really enjoyed reading that, even though I don't tend to read much KHR! :3
