Guest Seiyuu

Hidenobu Kiuchi Oshitari, Hei and Dr Kenzo TenmaHidenobu Kiuchi (木内秀信) is a talented seiyuu who is well known for his role as Oshitari Yuushi from Prince of Tennis, and more recently, Ryohei Sasagawa in Katekyo Hitman Reborn.

He has also starred in a number of leading roles including, but not limited to, Dr. Kenzo Tenma (Monster), Ren Honjo (Nana), Hei (Darker than Black), Ryuuren Ran (Saiunkoku Monogatari), and José (Gunslinger Girls). His credits also include Rurouni Kenshin, Death Note, Pokemon, Hunter x Hunter and many more.

Like many seiyuu, Kiuchi started off with stage acting before being encouraged to take up voice acting. These days in addition to his anime roles Kiuchi also teaches voice acting at the Human Academy Performing Arts College, and stars as a radio host in two online radio shows, Chiraizumu no Yoru and Seishun Radio. He's also released a number of character singles as Oshitari Yuushi, and contributed to the Hyotei album.

Guest Artist

Kidchan

A fan of surrealism and a self confessed daydreamer, Malaysian born Kidchan had the childhood dream of being a scientist, until she realised she spent more time drawing on her textbooks than reading them.

A graduate of the The One Academy majoring in Illustration, Kidchan's artworks have been published in Powder magazine, and she has showcased her work at several exhibitions and conventions, including Comic Fiesta, Comicon Road and The One Academy's Manga Suki. She has also been invited to several events as a guest artist to demonstrate her unique digital techniques.

Along with presenting digital workshops, Kidchan will also be selling her personal artbook Muted Colours, and displaying a collection of her original artworks.

Guest Panelists

Queenie Chan

Born in Hong Kong, she migrated to Australia at the age of six. She began drawing at the age of 18. In 2004, she began drawing a mystery-horror series called "The Dreaming" for LA-based manga publisher TOKYOPOP. With the first installment published in late 2005, it has since been translated into five languages. Recently she has finished work on a single-volume graphic novel with Del Rey called "In Odd We Trust", based on the "Odd Thomas" trilogy by novelist Dean Koontz, which was released in June 2008.

W. CHEW CHAN

An experienced storyboard artist who has worked on a number of projects: from comic book illustration to major movie productions, Superman Returns and Happy Feet. He is currently working on an Iron Man story for Marvel Comics. An avid proponent of the comics medium, he also serves as a Comics Consultant; his clients include the Kinokuniya Bookstores of Australia and Kennedy Miller Mitchell, for whom he worked on Justice League Mortal.
