SMASH! Announcements

New Video on YouTube

We've got a new YouTube video advertising the Madman Cosplay Competition. Find out why 9 out of 10 people that read this will click on the link! http://link.smash.org.au/byscd.

Madman Evangelion 2.0 Screening @ Dendy

Madman's Reel Anime is back. And in conjunction with SMASH!, Yuko Miyamura and Tiffany Grant will attend the Australian premiere of Evangelion 2.0 at Dendy Newtown on Thursday, August 5. You can be there, too! Tickets will be limited so book yours with Dendy when they become available at http://dendy.com.au/.

Video Game Tournament Details

Gaming is back at SMASH! this year with your chance to prove you're the best at Tekken 6 or the best at Super Street Fighter IV (or possibly the best at both, in which case, intense). Details are up on the website for both tournaments. For Tekken 6 go to http://link.smash.org.au/xrixx and for Super Street Fighter IV go to http://link.smash.org.au/osgih

BAKUC Closes July 23

If you're keen to fly to Hong Kong you may want to stop reading this (don't stop!) and get started on your Bandai action-kit plastic model. Get one made and submitted in time and you could be winning your way to Hong Kong to represent Australia. More details at http://link.smash.org.au/ywkgp.

Home Made Hype Closes July 31

Entries for Home Made Hype are starting to roll in and you can see them for yourself at our DeviantArt group http://link.smash.org.au/winro. Think you can do better? If you can then some awesome prizes, including Anime Studio and Manga Studio from Smith Micro, could be yours. Oh, and a commission from either Endling or Ms Rosek. Oh, and subscriptions to DeviantArt. Seriously. The prizes are incredible. All the details are at http://link.smash.org.au/bsbkz.

AVCon

Don't forget Adelaide. That should really be the motto of Adelaide. But seriously, don't forget them. If you're down in Adelaide on the weekend of July 24 & July 25 you want to visit AVCon. And if you're not in Adelaide, well what a good reason to go! Imagine how much fun you're having now, and then halve it. Then multiply it by 5. Then stop doing maths and just go. More details at http://www.avcon.org.au/.
