Jamie is a Newcastle based photographer and doll collector. Having collected Blythe dolls since 2005, she became drawn into the world of BJDs in 2006 when she saw some on display at a local doll fair. She has been interviewed and had her works published in Fashion Doll Quarterly, Gallery Raw and as part of the Robio Blythe Exhibition. In 2009 she had her photographs included in the It Must be Art! exhibition, a showcase of work from local professional and amateur photographers who are all Flickr members.
Along with her BJD website the Faireground, Jamie is also the owner of Australia’s own BJD forum and runs her own faceup shop, Atelier Faire.

Photography is something I started as a newfound hobby back in 2006. Being an avid figure collector most of my photography has been focused on figure photography where I have used makeshift setups at home and ventured out to public areas to take photos of them. Over time I have expanded into other areas such as landscapes and events such as conventions. I have even done wedding photography as an assistant a few times.
My new interest now is BJD photography as I have become an owner of a Dollfie Dream and am now discovering the many aspects of this new field. I came to take an interest in BJD after being introduced to them by a friend who owns a few BJD and since then my interests in this hobby grows.
