Ever worked at an anime convention before? Want to? SMASH offers a training program so that prior experience isn’t necessary! All that is required is that you are motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic! You’ll meet lots of new people, and gain experience that can help you in the workforce.
As a SMASH volunteer, you'll be part of a team that will work to assist staff and convention-goers in an area of the convention.
We'll let you know if your application was successful.
Applications close on July 12th at Midnight
- Read the Volunteers Code of Conduct
- You'll need to be at least 15 years old by the 2nd of August, 2008.
- You'll wear an armband on the day so convention-goers can identify you as volunteers.
- You may cosplay when on-shift as long as you wear the armband over your cosplay.
- You'll need to find your own transportation to the convention and training days.
- Even if you apply for a particular section, whether or not you are placed there will depend on the availability of volunteer positions.
