Earlier this week it came to our attention that Find Your Collectables, one of our vendors and panelists, have been accused of buying other artisans' work, displaying them as their own and selling inferior re-casted copies to the unsuspecting public. In line with our policies, and as big supporters of costumers, cosplayers and artisans in general, SMASH! takes these type of things very seriously. With the support of local and overseas members of The Replica Prop Forum, SMASH! has been investigating this accusation.

We knew it was crowded in SMASH! 2013, but not this crowded! On Saturday, August 10, seven thousand, eight hundred and forty nine (7,849) attendees passed through the doors of the Sydney Convention. That is A LOT of people! We completely SMASH!-ed any previous attendance numbers, and we couldn't have done it without you. Thank you, thank you all for making SMASH! 2013 such a blast. We look forward to seeing you again next year at the Rosehill Gardens!
